CORE ABA

The CORE Project, Inc. will create a clinical setting where Applied Behavior Analysis Therapy (ABA) as well as collaborative medical and ancillary therapy services are offered onsite. Since the passing of the Autism Insurance Mandate in Alabama, qualified professionals are now able to provide medically necessary therapy services utilizing ABA to teach language skills, reduce problem behaviors, increase socialization skills, and provide essential parent training in hopes of giving parents the skill set they need to keep their children at home as long as possible.

CORE Academy

The CORE Project, Inc., strives to create an environment where individuals can learn in a manner that best suits his or her needs. It is the goal of the CORE Academy to provide quality educational services to as many children with special needs as possible. This may be done through group direct instruction, one on one instruction, and social skills groups. Our students will be provided individualized education plans adapted to fit each student’s specific educational needs while also addressing any maladaptive behaviors.

CORE Life

Deficits do not just vanish when a certain age is met. CORE Life will work with individuals no matter their age. The goal of this program is to find meaningful work opportunities and provide training for individuals to inspire growth and independence. Currently, there are limited options in our area for services that address the needs of the population transitioning out of the school system and those older than school age.

CORE Respite

The divorce rate is twice that of couples with neurotypical children. When surveyed, our community responded with respite care being the number one need of families with children with special needs. This program will provide quality care for these children while presenting parents with a much needed break to help promote a healthy home environment. The CORE Respite will provide weekend respite services twice a month in two daily sessions.
